The Pittsburgh Penguins welcome the Winnipeg Jets .

Winnipeg have not had an easy ride to start the season in early October. Their first four games are all on the road, with this being that trips last game. The Jets will host the Minnesota Wild for their home opener on Thursday night.
Thats just one week after their 2019-20 campaign opened against the New York Rangers. Nevertheless if I am a participant I would rather get the road trips from the way today. The Jets enter Tuesday with a record of 1-2-0, with their only win coming from New Jersey from the Devils.
They had to divert a deficit to win in a shootout over the Devils. In what was growing into a blowout, since they didnt give up, This had been a remarkable comeback from the Jets. Theyre going into tonight with a record of 0-3-0 and no issues if the Jets do not complete that come from behind win.
Its not exactly what the Jets were searching for and return to where they were two decades ago is not going to be easy. Away from going into the Stanley Cup Final this season the Jets were just one set. They finally dropped to an expansion team. Jacob Trouba left to get a bigger contract from New York this past offseason, so that strikes. Pressure is about Connor Hellebuyck to receive his game straight. He has had a rough time in his first two starts.
The Penguins went down and then up within their first two competitions. A 3-1 dropped into the Sabres and blew the Blue Jackets outside by a score of 7-2. Evgeni Malkin was ruled out for a significant quantity of time with a leg injury. This does not appear to be season-ending, though. Malkin was coping with accidents last season so this is not anything new for the Penguins. Along with Malkin, fellow centreman Nick Bjustad is gone as well. Head below for our free Jets vs. Penguins pick.
The Penguins are suddenly very lean at centre without Malkin and Bjustad. Malkin is actually the better known product, but Bjustad out deprives the Penguins of thickness. An accident to Sidney Crosby are their lines that are forward into disarray, but luckily for the Penguins, he is will be in the lineup tonight and healthy. Supporting Crosby, the Penguins will go with Teddy Blueger along with Jared McCann With no Bjustad and Malkin.
McCann is a good player and the next line should be solid enough, but he is going to be put to a position. He is going to be awakened into the line, although blueger was finding his own way on the fourth lineup. Infection may prove to be an issue for your Crosby, Bjustad, also Blueger. The Pens likely get by without Bjustad or even Malkin, but both of them is going to cause issues.
Despite a start for the Jets, theyre still a good team who can bury the puck. They got swept up against a sexy Islanders goaltender in their latest game, but were great against Devils and the Rangers with a total of 9 targets. Thomas Greiss was on fire using 1 goal allowed on 36 shots.
There was not much that the Jets do about Greiss. Laying this juice on the Penguins, without any depth up front, thereabout or contrary to a Jets team that is capable -160 seems way too high. The Penguins are a bet that is favorite , therefore expect them to be overvalued to Malkin and Bjustad. I would take the value on the Jets in Pittsburgh tonight.
