Washington Nationals at St. Louis Cardinals MLB Pick – October 12th

This was the final that they got their cake and eat it too position for Washington. They stole home-field advantage away all at one time and were able to rest starters and their bullpen . They all the sudden possess the Cardinals on the ropes since they have ace newcomer Max Scherzer going tonight in game two, and if St. Louis cant knock off Mad Max, then they are going to be down 0-2 in the home, and the series is basically over.

Interestingly enough, Scherzer has struggled this season against St. Louis. Will Mad Max be in a position to keep his run on the road against a team he has struggled against this year through the playoffs tonight? I personally think so.
The Cardinals will seem to match Scherzer with veteran Adam Wainwright. Since the thirty-eight-year-old tossed two-thirds of baseball and seven, wainwright came up enormous for the Cardinals. But to me, that performance was a bit fluky. This guy did not have a year as he lost double-digit games. And I am not sure he is the guy I would have gone in a place. I could have gone with Dakota Hudson or chose the even better choice to sit Jack Flaherty down in game five against Atlanta once they scored ten runs in the upper half of the first inning.
That is the elephant in the room in this collection. Jack Flaherty is undoubtedly the best that the Cardinals have so far as starting pitching goes. They began him but they decided to still go with Flaherty, when they jumped out to an insurmountable 10-0 first-inning direct. And not for an inning or two, that they pitched him that first five, and he isnt accessible until game three. When it may be too late for St. Louis.
St. Louis will cover this choice tonight, since they have a lopsided pitching matchup involving a guy that has not been elite since 2014, moving against a man that just might be the best pitcher in the league at the moment. They need to confront some combo of Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, and Patrick Corbin and needs to conquer all three of them. I dont see that happening. Give that the Washington Nationals to me as road favorites tonight in game two out of St. Louis laying -128!
